We lifted bricks
At Stonewall
And lit the match
Of Revolution.

We stood
In Tianamen Square,
One student
Against all of
Mao's library.

We whispered
Psalms to
Each other in
Dachau.

We burned,
Innocent of all
Crimes,
In Hiroshima,
Nagasaki,
And Dresden.

Times beyond
Measure
We have died
For the Truth.

Tonight,
At Standing Rock,
And in the
Days to come,
