I still cry out for you.

February 3
I still cry out for you.
It's been ten thousand years,
And I still remember.
I remember the stars in your hair,
Glittering with the promise of another Way.
I remember your laugh,
Echoing down the chasm of my Being.
I remember the ivy on your back,
Growing down to Heaven.
I remember your hands,
The hands that forged the First Sword.
But most of all,
I remember your promise
To return.
And still I wait.
