Alright, kids,

February 4
Alright, kids, time for the rubber to hit the road,
Time to stop complaining and put down my load.
This book ain't gonna publish itself.
If I don't put it together, I'll never put it on the shelf.
Y'all need to have my words, put them in your pocket.
Key in door, sword in stone, my picture in your locket.
I rarely rhyme and I suck at meter,
But I rise with the Son and with poetry greet Her.
I practice an art that is lost to the ages:
How to dive through my pens and live on in the pages.
Read me at your own risk, you won't be the same.
The ball's in my court and I made up the game.
I take no prisoners and give no quarter,
So come and sit down with me, the Crane's Daughter.
